Need Advice on Ampeg V4
Buying a vintage V4 this week, and I’m trying to decide what pedal to possibly boost it with. I’ve been told that an actual boost pedal rather than a distortion pedal gives it more sustain and compression, which make it sound more clear. I’m pretty uneducated about these amps, other than knowing they are loud, warm, and full of bass.
